She’s your best friend.
She knows all your secrets.
That’s why she’s so dangerous.
A single mother’s life is turned upside down when her best friend vanishes in this chilling debut thriller in the vein of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.
Ok, so I had no actual interest in reading this book until I saw the first movie preview. Honestly, you can put Blake Lively in anything and I will watch it. I don’t know what it is about her, but she’s just mesmerizing, you know?
So I downloaded it in the Kindle store, and tore through it in a day, because honestly, I just couldn’t put it down. The story of Anna and Emily pulled me in fast and hard, and every single twist and turn had me holding my breath and waiting for more. I couldn’t wait to find out how the story ended. The beginning, middle and end had me on an incredible ride and I was satisfied with the ending. I loved the characters, I loved the relationships, and I really loved the plot itself.
Then a week later I saw the movie and HOLY BANANAS was it amazing. I have to say I almost never enjoy a movie more than the book it was based on however this one was a switch for me. I love how the book and movie ended differently so that you don’t know what to expect regardless of which you enjoy first. I loved the chemistry. I loved the relationships. I loved the characters. And with the movie, I LOVED the ending! You should definitely read AND watch this one!
